The EFC Communications and Research Committee (CRC) supports one of the Centre’s core objectives of communicating and documenting European philanthropy.

Knowledge on the independent funding sector, and communication of this knowledge, is vital to building an identity and infrastructure for independent funders in Europe. The EFC needs to understand and communicate what European independent funders do, what they represent, and what they can bring to the table, thereby shaping a story of European philanthropy.

Mindful of this, the CRC Committee provides strategic guidance to the Centre for developing its communication and information capacity. The CRC has the additional function of supporting the other EFC committees’ communications and information strategy needs.
