Network-Building Committee

EFC member-led Network Building Committee (NBC) supports one of the Centre’s core objectives of building networks and partnerships.

Recognising partnership as vital to the success of European independent funders, both individually and as a sector, the NBC aligns the strategy of the Centre to further develop its position as a meeting place for actors in European and global philanthropy. The Committee does this by leading the Centre’s work on internal networking building led mainly by interest groups, building alliances and partnerships and by promoting the incubation of innovative projects.

The NBC also sets out to develop strategic partnerships among EFC members and governments, multilateral organisations, and universities, among others and is responsible for the implementation of the EFC Interest Group Guidelines which were adopted by the Committee in 2008.
