The Foundation Week will be divided into two parts: Open Days, and the EFC AGA and Conference 2010.
Open Days (free, no registration required)
Monday, 31 May - Wednesday, 2 June 2010
The Open Days offer a forum in which foundations can interact with EU policymakers, the Brussels community of stakeholders and the general public in order to showcase their work and highlight the important role they play in the European project.
The days are divided into a number of key slots that can be filled by a variety of events, such as high-level policy debates/seminars, public debates, exhibitions, interactive fairs, presentations, cocktails, etc. The events should all have an EU lens.
Want to organise an event or display during the Open Days?
EFC members and other Open Days participants are encouraged to use the Week as an opportunity to announce new initiatives, publications, etc. In addition to the above-mentioned key slots, there will be space available to organisations, groups and initiatives to organise parallel events – similar to those that featured as satellite events in previous EFC conferences.

EFC AGA and Conference (registration and fee required)
Wednesday, 2 June - Friday, 4 June
The conference days offer an exclusive space for foundation representatives to network with one another and discuss issues that are of immediate concern to them. The programme will include a total of 20 sessions dealing with some key operational and programmatic topics. The conference will also feature a special plenary debate, as well as the EFC Annual Photo Competition and Raymond Georis Prize.
The Annual General Assembly brings together EFC members to discuss the Centre’s business. This year, it is envisaged to extend the programme of the AGA to include a keynote speaker/and or debate on a chosen topic(s).
