Learning events

Professionalisation of Foundation Staff is at the heart of the EFC Capacity Building programme. Emphasis is put on the "craft" of philanthropy always bearing in mind the questions about the "how" and "why" of foundation work.

The EFC is working on developing a long term and sustained programme rooted in research and guidance on foundation practice. To attain this goal the EFC will offer a whole set of specific and targeted learning events:

Tomorrow's Leaders in European Philanthropy

Giving priority to investment in emerging practitioners or so called "future leaders".

Foundations as Specialists

Focus on skills needed for foundations to be specialist suppliers of philanthropic funds and resources going beyond skilled an creative funding practices to include: convening, knowledge management and dissemination, influencing.

Shared Learning and Partnership
