Eurobriefings offer EFC members and other interested parties an opportunity to establish contacts with European practitioners and policy-makers, evaluate how European concerns impact on their own activities, and identify potential partners.

2007: "Diversity is our Strength"- EU policies, foundations' actions in the fields of equal opportunities and non-discrimination

This one-day information meeting brought together representatives of the foundation sector, the European Commission and other interested parties within the framework of the 2007 European Year of Equal Opportunities for All. Participants reviewed EU policies and foundations' actions in the fields of non-discrimination and equal opportunities and identified a number of areas in which foundations and the EU could benefit from greater cooperation. The EFC preliminary survey report "Funding in Equal Opportunities: A Selective Overview" was also released at the event and used as basis for discussion.
