Why join the EFC?
The EFC is the platform for independent funders active in and with Europe. As a membership organisation, the EFC includes foundations and corporate citizens from all over Europe and the world.

Who is eligible to join?
Membership of the EFC is open to individual grantmaking and operational funders, i.e. European foundations and corporate funders and global funders with European funding programmes and initiatives. All members subscribe to the EFC Principles of Good Practice.
Organisations who do not qualify for EFC Membership, including associations, cooperatives, research institutes, universities and other interested parties (except individuals), can get involved by applying for the EFC Associate or Subscriber status.
Membership fee and contribution
Membership of the EFC is on a calendar year basis. The annual EFC membership fee is 4,000 €. The members are encouraged to contribute a voluntary proportional membership contribution over and above the 4,000 € annual membership fee, based on either the organisation’s expenditure or assets.

How do I join?
Each organisation interested in joining the EFC as a member is required to:
· Complete the
EFC Membership Application Form (29kb) (Please do not hesitate to contact the membership department should you wish to receive a Word-version of the application form via e-mail)
· Submit a copy of the organisation’s statutes and latest annual report along with the application form.
The completed application form, together with the requested annexes, should be sent to the EFC secretariat by post or email to the attention of:
