The EFC is offering a special membership rate to community foundations that would like to get actively involved in the work and activities of the Centre. A special empasis of this programme is placed on foundations located in central and eastern Europe.
The Centre has a very diverse membership including more than 230 foundations, trusts and corporate funders. By joining the EFC, foundations become part of a strong network of dynamic funders that are leaders in their respective fields. By working together, funders can help to increase the visibility of the sector, and raise public awareness about the important work that foundations are doing in Europe. .
The special membership programme will allow five community foundations to:
- Benefit from all EFC membership services at a special rate of €1,000 instead of the normal membership fee of €4,000.
- Benefit from a travel fund to cover the cost of sending a representative to participate in one of the many EFC events, such as the Annual Conference or the Grantmakers East Forum.
- Receive support to get involved in the many activities and working groups of the EFC.
This is an important opportunity for community foundations in the eastern half of Europe to connect with other leaders of the foundation sector and share knowledge and experience. It will also serve to strengthen the voice and visibility of community foundations within the EFC and the sector as a whole.
This programme was made possible thanks to the generous support of the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation.
