“Annabelle-the-Clown”, winner of the 2008 EFC Photo Competition, is an image of a young lady dressed as a clown visiting an elderly patient with an advanced progressive disease. By her face and jokes, Annabelle-the-Clown performs to relight a flame in the eyes of the patient. The photo was submitted by the Fondation de France.
