Participants

The Forum convenes Foundations, Roma Stakeholders and other partners.

Foundations

The Forum gathers foundations interested in making a contribution to Roma inclusion. Founding members agree to make a contribution towards the costs of the running of the Forum for the first two years.

Members are expected to participate actively in the Forum’s activities, attend meetings and contribute towards agreed activities.

The Forum is open to interested foundations, including non-EFC members.

Roma Stakeholders

Mindful of the importance of the involvement and active participation of Roma in the drafting and design of strategies and activities, the Forum will also convene individuals and organisations from - or actively engaged with - Roma communities and issues.

These organisations and individuals will play a leading role in shaping and developing the content-related aspects of the Forum.

Participating foundations will identify and invite Roma organisations to join the Forum.

Partners

The Forum will also liaise with European Institutions responsible for the implementation of various elements of the European Roma Agenda.

The Forum will develop close cooperation other EFC Interest Groups, most especially with the Education, Children and Youth and also the Diversity, Migration and Integration Interest Groups, as well as with the continuing NEF project which involves cooperation with the World Bank and the Open Society Institute in providing support to the Roma Education Fund.

Partnerships with other relevant networks and organisations will be set up as necessary.
