EFComEx (European Foundation Communications Exchange) was established in 2010 following a meeting of some 30 foundation communications professionals. The aim of the informal group is to provide a platform through which communications and press officers working in European foundations can share best practices about their work and gain advice.

The group share information through two virtual fora, an e-mail exchange and the EFComEx Facebook Group, as well as an annual gathering.
