The first draft of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) opinion on the European Foundation Statute (EFS) was discussed at the meeting of the study group set up to elaborate the document on 8 December 2009. The opinion is being prepared under the lead of EESC and EFC member Mall Hellam, of Open Estonia Foundation, with the contribution of the EFC as expert. EFC member Miguel Angel Cabra de Luna, of Fundación ONCE, is also member of the study group[1]. The first draft of the opinion is available here or from the EFC secretariat at eu@efc.be.
