The EFC is currently looking to hire the following:

 

Book-keeper – 4/5 time position (30h/week)

Reporting to the EFC’s Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer, under the supervision of an external Accountant, the book-keeper will ensure the smooth running of day-to-day accountancy matters of the EFC Secretariat and accuracy of all related documents and reports.

Specific areas of responsibility include:

  • Computing of the invoices, cash and  bank documents ;
  • VAT declarations;
  • Monthly and annual accounting reports in cooperation ;
  • Preparation of audit documents for the external Auditors

 

Requirements

  • Degree in accounting
  • Knowledge of Belgian GAAP
  • Post-academic professional  experience of at least 3-5 years in bookkeeping; a successful experience  in an accountancy company in Belgium will be regarded as an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software programs
  • French or/and Dutch speaking and good level in English
  • Available and proactive
  • Amenable to working with an international team
