The second meeting of the EFC Forum for Roma inclusion took place on 11 January 2010 in Weinheim under the auspices of the Freudenberg Stifftung and the chairmanship of Christian Petry. Participants included the leading foundations supporting the Forum (Erste Foundation, Foundation ‘ Remembrance, Responsibility and Future’ and Bernard Van Leer Foundation), European Commission representatives and Roma stakeholders. The aims of the meeting were:

1. Taking stock of the debate at EU Level since the adoption of the Weinheim declaration.

2. Making further progress towards implementing the declaration.

3. Planning the future activities of the group, notably the preparation of the Weinheim II text that will be presented at the Second European Roma summit, which will take place on 8-9 in Cordoba as one of the key events of the current Spanish Presidency of the EU.
