The European Commission launched a call for eco-innovation projects to be funded under the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme. This call supports Eco-innovative projects in different sectors which aim at the prevention or reduction of environmental impacts or which contribute to the optimal use of resources. The call covers four main areas:
- Material recycling
- Sustainable building products
- Food and drink sector
- Green business
