Fondation Ensemble newsletter on Africa

Over half of Fondation Ensemble’s programmes are dedicated to Africa, with thirty-eight partners and over seven million Euros are invested there. 

This special edition newsletter, published in June 2010, gives an overview of their engagement and is divided up into four sections:

  • Words from an expert: Will the human race find ways to feed itself in the next few years? Recommendations provided by the Academy of Science…
  • Focus on the field: J. Délia Brémond, Vice President of Fondation Ensemble,  gives her perspective on the projects visited last April in Malawi.
  • Following up with partners for the long term: How expert Michel Affholder supports the Migrations et Développement programme.
  • Sharing experiences: the new technical sheet by Sodis: a simple and efficient process that makes drinking water accessible to all.

34 programs

13 small grants

14 priority intervention countries, including Burkina Faso (27%).

570,000 beneficiaries, essentially in rural areas. 77% with regard to ‘Water and Sanitation’ projects.
