Join the European Environmental Funders Group call on Germany’s plan to get out of nuclear and expand renewable energy.

The call will take place on 27 January 2012 from 15:00 to 16:30 CET

  • What is the state of play today?
  • Who is involved in the process and what is the feedback from various stakeholders?
  • What are the key challenges, gaps and needs in advancing this agenda?
  • How could Germany’s process inform and/or influence similar activities in other European countries?
  • How could foundations engage around this agenda?
  • What are the opportunities and areas where we could create better synergies and how do we go about doing this?

Lars Grotewold, Project Manager, Stiftung Mercator GmbH will set the stage for our discussion. His presentation will be followed by brief comments from funders upon which there will be a facilitated discussion, seeking to address in particular the last set of questions above.
