In November 2009, King Baudouin Foundation launched with the support of the Oak Foundation the Stakeholder dialogue on climate change mitigation and social justice in Europe. This initiative brings together experts in climate change and social justice to develop a joint approach to climate change mitigation and social policies in Europe.
Through offline and online discussions the arguments, information and opinions of many different stakeholders from all across Europe have been gathered. They are being distilled into a set of policy recommendations on which interested parties can comment upon on the initiative’s website http://www.debateccsj.eu/ until 10 April 2010. These recommendations will be finalised and delivered to policy makers in Brussels at the closing event which will be held on 3-4 May 2010.
