On 5 October, 2010, Fondation Macif is holding a debate around the topic “Leveraging social innovation: imagination and experimentation”. Main issues to be discussed include:

• Social innovation and territories: territories frame the emergence of social innovation: experiments in innovative approaches and new actions by public and private actors, bring answers to yet unaddressed social needs 
• Social innovation and environment: people’s wellbeing and safeguard of the environment go hand in hand. The combined approach of “social innovation and environment” can lead to many innovative steps that highlight the link between the social and environmental issues at stake.
