A “network of networks,” the Worldwide Initiatives for Grantmaker Support (WINGS) is the “only truly worldwide network representing and serving the broad community of grantmakers, foundations and philanthropy-support organisations,” says Executive Director Helena Monteiro in a recent interview with the Mott Foundation.

Since its founding in 2000, Mott has supported the development of WINGS and its mission to strengthen philanthropy and a culture of giving through mutual support, knowledge sharing and professional development.

Now permanently located in Brazil, WINGS currently serves 147 network participants from 54 countries around the world.
