Paul Caroly has been appointed the new General Secretary and member of the Executive Committee of the Institut Curie.
Mr Caroly has professional experience in the fields of research, biotechnology and public health.
In 1996, he became Director of Legal Affairs and Intellectual Property for the bioMérieux Group, before being appointed in 2001 as General Secretary of the Fondation Mérieux (EFC member). He holds a Master's degree in Business Law and a Business Management diploma from the Ecole supérieure des affaires in Grenoble. He also holds a postgraduate degree in Medical Ethics and Law from the University of Lyon.
