The fifth edition of the 'Where the Green Grants Went' is now available!
(30/01/2012 )

The UK Environmental Funders Network (EFN) published the fifth edition of its series 'Where the Green Grants Went'. The report features an analysis of the environmental grants of 147 UK trusts and foundations over three years. It includes new data on the scale of environmental philanthropy, the amounts devoted to different environmental issues, which continents and UK regions receive the most funding, and trends over time. It also contains fresh research on the views of grantseekers and grantmakers about the grantmaking relationship, a top 100 of NGOs receiving grants, international comparisons and others.

'In times of financial stress, every pound must count double. There has never been a more important time for philanthropy, especially environmental philanthropy, to be disciplined and strategic...I encourage all philanthropists to read and reflect on this report.' - Chris Cooper-Hohn, Co-founder, Children's Investment Fund Foundation
