The upcoming European Environmental Funders Group Spring meeting will provide the space for networking, intelligence sharing and strategic reflection on funding opportunities. It represents a precious opportunity for attendees to better understand the way of working and trends within the Scandinavian philanthropic sector, with a focus on Denmark, the hosting country, as well as get inspired for future activities. Among topics covered will be the collective impact approach, climate change, sustainable transport, and the circular economy.
In particular, the meeting will allow attendees to:
- meet key actors active in environmental philanthropy in Denmark and discuss with them interests and challenges in the environmental field
- meet our guest speakers and learn more about environmental policy priorities in Denmark and the role of Denmark in European decision making on environmental policies/ how these priorities link up with European policies
- reflect on opportunities for future interventions
- learn from experiences of your peers and identify opportunities for collaboration
The meeting will be hosted by the Velux Foundations, current chair of the EEFG, and will take place at the European Environmental Agency in Copenhagen.
The meeting is open to environmental funders and is by invitation only. For further information please contact Giulia Lombardi, [email protected]
