The next European Parliament’s Social Economy Intergroup’ public hearing will focus on “The social economy: creating good quality jobs in Europe”. The event will take placve on 12 January from 13:30 to 15:30, in the European Parliament (room JAN4Q2)/
The hearing will debate how to mainstream the social economy as an actor in EU employment policies and review Social economy’s contribution to good quality jobs creation in the EU.
Panellists include Members of the European Parliament Jens Nilsson (S&D, SE), Sofia Ribeiro (EPP, PT), Elena Gentile (S&D, IT), and Georgi Pirinski (S&D, BG), will actively participate in this public hearing. Commissioner Marianne Thyssen, Social Economy Europe Chair Juan Antonio Pedreño ETUC Confederal Secretary Luca Visentini, EESSC Social Economy category co-spokesperson Krzysztof Stanislaw Balon, EESC’s member Giuseppe Guerini, a representative of the European network of integration enterprises (ENSIE) , and Social Services Europe board member Luk Zelderloo have been invited to participate.
