Our friends at the ECF have recently announced that the position of Managing Director is open for application. In continuing the ECF’s mission to work with civil society across Europe, contributing to open and inclusive communities through culture, the new managing director will lead a great team and steer an invaluable European organisation into its next decades.
Based in Amsterdam, the ECF is an organisation that puts public interest at its centre and supports and promotes cultural activities in Europe. Culture is seen as a crucial tool in bridging divides and enabling freedom, solidarity and diversity, and alongside equality and democracy, these are driving values at the ECF.
The organisation supports and highlights positive voices in these times of global economic, social and environmental pressures, and gives a voice to those who have been excluded from the public sphere by supporting cultural change makers and encouraging collaborations.
Following the announcement of the retirement of the current Managing Director, Katherine Watson, the ECF are now looking for the next visionary leader who can guide the organisation in reaching these ambitions.
