The Fifth Olga Alexeeva Memorial Prize has been awarded to an Puja Marwaha, chief executive of Child Rights and You (CRY).
The prize is awarded to a worthy individual who has shown leadership, creativity and results in developing philanthropy for social change in new and emerging markets or countries. It is the perfect chance to recognise someone for their pioneering, outstanding efforts in developing philanthropy.
In light of this, Marwaha has been recogonised for consistently promoting Indian philanthropy locally and nationally, growing the model of philanthropy within the country which now has over 1,800,000 individual donors contributing to the field of children’s welfare.

The prize will be presented at the ”Investing in Philanthropy Development” WINGS International Meeting for Funders on the 26-27 March in Barcelona, Spain. Marwaha, along with all of the other finalists will attend the meeting and have the chance to present their work.
