The Board of the Tällberg Foundation have recently launched the Tällberg Global Leaders and the Tällberg Global Leadership Prize. The initiative aims to achieve two goals; firstly, to honour great leaders and hopefully inspire others to imitate them, and secondly, to provoke a conversation about new kinds of leadership and encourage people to demand more from leaders who disappoint them.
The Tällberg Foundation believes that there are great leaders currently working in a range of fields, from science, business and religion to arts, academia, NGOs and beyond. Leaders who are innovative, courageous, optimistic, ethical and not overwhelmed by challenges, but energised by them.
The 2017 nominating process is now open and will remain open until the beginning of June. The 2017 jury will convene in August to elect four to five Tällberg Global Leaders, two of whom will be selected to receive the 2017 Tällberg Global Leadership Prize and the accompanying $50,000 honoraria.
