The European Civil Society Platform on Lifelong Learning (EUCIS-LLL) organises its 3rd Lifelong Learning Week in the European Parliament, Brussels, from 2 to 6 December 2013. The event aims to raise awareness on Lifelong Learning (LLL) in Europe and to put forward the need to adopt a holistic approach at all levels of decision-making, implementation and evaluation. This year, the Week will have a particular focus on the upcoming European Elections of Spring 2014.
The Lifelong Learning Week will provide a space for dialogue between civil society representatives, practitioners and policy-makers on the future of learning in Europe. During the week different events will be organised, such as:
- round table on EUCIS-LLL European Manifesto with representatives of all political groups
- seminar on “Measuring progress in lifelong learning”
- EUCIS-LLL – European Civic Forum seminar on European Citizenship Education, in the framework of the European Year of Citizens Alliance 2013
- high level meeting between EU and civil society representatives on Europe 2020 and education and training policies
