Background
Fondazione Terzo Pilastro-Italia e Mediterraneo (formerly Fondazione Roma - Terzo Settore) was created in 2007 by Fondazione Roma, as a result of the merger between Fondazione Italiana per il Volontariato (FIVOL) and Fondazione Europa Occupazione: Impresa e Solidarietà (FEO).
Mission
The foundation’s mission is to: • Promote, in Italy and Europe, initiatives of public benefit in the areas of public health, education, arts and culture, scientific research and the social inclusion of disadvantaged social groups • Promote and fund social entrepreneurship • Promote and sustain voluntary work in every field
