The CEO Exchange aims to create a safe and trusted space for exchange, learning and reflection among CEOs of EFC members on issues of strategic interest and significance for institutional philanthropy, such as
- challenges and drivers of change in institutional philanthropy and how different organisations are responding
- approaches to institutional philanthropy across Europe: governance arrangements, organisational and programme strategies, moving policy agendas and partnerships
- societal and policy developments that inform/impact on institutional philanthropy
CEO Exchange is a response by the EFC to Members’ CEOs request to address the critical need for a dedicated space and format for foundation leaders to engage with peers around strategic questions for philanthropy. It will also provide a platform for the EFC to identify opportunities and strategies to champion institutional philanthropy.
CEO Exchange will start in autumn 2017 with a small group of CEOs and build from there.
The Foundation CEO Exchange is part of the EFC’s ongoing commitment to improving peer-learning and collaboration among its members. For more information on the EFC’s seven key priorities, please download the EFC Strategic Framework 2016-2022.
