 European Learning Lab

2014 Lab - Human Resources Management - Help wanted!

Foundations are all about resources. Undeniably, it is the talent and energy of trustees, board/family members and staff that make that the foundation’s financial resources work for its mission. But do we always manage these human resources as carefully and diligently as our financial assets? As we strive to lead our projects towards success, do we also always lead the people running them towards the same goal? How can we create and maintain a working environment that challenges and inspires our people to give their very best?

If you are…

  • Leading a team or expected to do so in the near future
  • Managing (or responsible for) your organisation’s ability to learn, adapt and change
  • In charge of your organisation’s talent management
  • A CEO or COO who is interested in being more strategic about your organisation’s human resources management

…then clear your schedule and come to Milan, because your help is wanted!

Date: 3-4 July and 25-26 September (attendance to both modules is a must)
Venue: Centro Congressi Fondazione Cariplo - Milan, Italy

For more information and to apply, contact Andrea Salvadori, asalvadori@efc.be

We very much welcome multiple participants from one organisation, because it is easier to put into practice what you learn when you learn as a team.

Participation in the Learning Lab is free and open for EFC members and affiliates.

The European Learning Lab is a collaborative learning event organised by the EFC and Fondazione Cariplo, held in Milan annually. It offers foundations opportunities to share and exchange knowledge of foundation practices among peers; learn about new tools, techniques and approaches to enhance current foundation practices and processes; and identify benchmarking opportunities that allow organisations to compare practices and improve processes.

Earlier editions of the European Learning Labs included:

  • 2010 - Project Management
  • 2011 - Stakeholder Management
  • 2012 - The Value of Evaluating
  • 2013 - Making Your Money Work Harder
