Barilla Center for Food and Nutrition workshop – ”Fixing the Business of Food”

The Barilla Center for Food and Nutrition is organising a workshop ”Fixing the Business of Food – The Food Industry and the SDG Challenge”, taking place in New York from 16:00 to 18:00 on 24 September, 2019.

The workshop, organised in collaboration with the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment (CCSI) the Santa Chiara Lab – University of Siena (SCL) and the Rappresentanza Permanente d’Italia ONU – New York will feature the presentation of a new report outlining sustainable business practices in the food sector. The workshop will also feature speakers from different parts of the sector, academics, institutional representatives and opinion leaders.

Together the organisers aim to accelerate the progress of developing sustainable food chains, healthy diets and the evolution of good corporate citizens.
