The Family STAR project is organising a presentation on ”Family Group Conferences as a strategy to reduce early school drop-out” on the 17th December.
The Family STAR project, which began in 2013 and is supported by EFC member Fondazione CON IL SUD, is a partnership aimed at preventing social exclusion and reducing school drop out rates through the integration and engagement of family members and teachers into Family Group Conferences (FGC).
Family STAR are organising the presentation to share their results and findings from the initiative so as to benefit schoolchildren across Europe and the world.
Hosted in Philanthropy House the event programme features:

11.30 – Innovation between school and family: assessing obstacles and opportunities of an intervention for school well-being
12.15 – Short term effects of FGC on student’s wellbeing
