Connected Cities is a volunteer-led project incubated by the Transatlantic Core Group that is aiming to build upon the existing Hamburg-Chicago city partnership with the aim to ”make strangers friends.”
The projects aims to establish and expand civil society networks, with a special focus upon integrating new or underrepresented actors from both cities. Though the creation of a larger, transatlantic network for civil society actors they can invest both into societal issues of the two cities along with German-American relations.
