Officine Grandi Riparazioni

good-practice

Officine Grandi Riparazioni, otherwise known as OGR, is a former train repair depot in Turin that has been re-imagined into a centre for the arts and innovation by Fondazione CRT.

The goal of OGR is to create and support an ecosystem for the development and growth of the cultural, social and economic capital of the area, with a programme designed to speak to the wider community. The site today achieves this and plays host to a wide array of activities, with a tech hub for IT companies, restaurants and bars for a wide range of clientele and multiple venues hosting concerts, exhibitions and other cultural events.

The project was visited during the 2019 Funders’ Forum on Sustainable Cities Conference.
