The “Safe at Home” guide aims at prolonging the safety and independence of the elderly in their home, as well as providing information to caregivers to support those they care for.
The guide contains detailed information including advice on safety, prevention of falls, exercises for physical strength, nutrition, and more. The manual strives to improve the daily life of elders, to empower their caregivers while also raising awareness to the broader public on ways to support the elderly.
The guide was created as part of a grant provided to PR.A.K.S.I.S, under the Points of Support program by the TIMA Charitable Foundation in 2015.
