European Venture Philanthopy Association (EVPA) is a lively network of organisations sharing the same vision and a common goal: creating positive societal impact through venture philanthropy. Its mission is to enable venture philanthropists and social investors to maximise societal impact through increased resources, collaboration and expertise. Currently EVPA has over 225 members, mainly based in Europe, but also in the United States, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Asia, showing the sector is rapidly evolving across borders. Its membership covers a full range of venture philanthropy and social investment activities including venture philanthropy funds, social investors, grant-making foundations, impact investing funds, private equity firms, professional service firms, philanthropy advisers, banks and business schools.

Programme Areas

To achieve its mission, EVPA:

- Provides a forum for European-based venture philanthropists to network, exchange ideas and debate best practice through an annual conference and other online and offline meetings.
- Supports its members in carrying out their venture philanthropy activities through workshops, site visits and research
- Informs potential donors, investors and others of the role and benefits of venture philanthropy, with the aim of highlighting the societal impact of venture philanthropy
- The EVPA Knowledge Centre collects industry data and produces research on best practice, mapping the future of venture philanthropy and social investment, and facilitating its development .Visit our Knowledge Centre to find out more.
