Our new members:
Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze – Italy
Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze (FCRF), established in 1992, has its origins in a savings bank and continues in the footsteps of its a predecessor with its social and philanthropic initiatives and a focus on Tuscany and the region of Florence.
FCRC activities converge around 5 macro-areas: arts and culture, charities and volunteering, research and technological innovation, education, and environmental protection.
Tiina and Antti Herlin Foundation – Finland
The Tiina and Antti Herlin Foundation is an independent foundation, established in 2014 to support and promote social welfare, culture, the environment and science, as well as teaching and research.
Since it was established, the foundation has awarded nearly one million euros in grants annually and in 2020 adopted a new operational model, seeking solutions best suited to its funding purposes, instead of utilising open application calls.
Our new affiliate:
International Committee of the Red Cross – Switzerland
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an independent organisation with an exclusively humanitarian mission to protect the lives and welfare of victims of conflict and violence. The ICRC also seeks to prevent suffering by promoting and strengthening humanitarian law and universal humanitarian principles.
Established in 1863, the ICRC is at the origin of the Geneva Conventions and the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and directs and coordinates the international activities conducted by the movement in armed conflicts and other situations of violence.
