Ariadne and the European Community Organizing Network have published a joint study ”Making a way forward: Community Organising and the Future of Democracy in Europe” presenting funders insights on the role that community organising can play in protecting liberal and inclusive democracies.
The study comes as a result of dialogues opened between social change and human rights funders, and those advocating for a enabling environment for community organising in Europe. The study showcases these dialogues and examples of people reclaiming democratic space and developing leadership for the future of their communities, from promoting housing as a human right in Ireland to countering nationalist movements in Slovakia.
