EFC (on behalf of WINGs) holds one of the four newly created NPO seats as a representative of philanthropy on the FATF Private Sector Consultative Forum (which will meet again in March 2018). In November, a joint EFC/WINGs webinar was conducted on the matter, to provide a general overview on FATF and how our sector can engage around FATF country evaluations, and to also collect wider input for the next FATF Private Sector Consultative Forum. On 12 December, EFC spoke at a Global NPO coalition on FATF webinar on solutions for nonprofits’ banking problems and next steps. Other speakers included:  Sue Eckert on the World Banks/ACAMS Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue on NPO Financial Access; Updates from advocacy efforts  in Brazil, Netherlands, EU, Mexico, UK, US and Jerry Brito, Dir. COIN Center, on piloting use of cryptocurrency for grantmaking, humanitarian emergencies.
