Background
Fondazione Cariverona was founded in 1991, following a general re-arrangement of the bank system operated by the Italian Government: it takes the legacy of the Cassa di Risparmio di Verona created in 1825 as part of those banks established to promote the circulation of capital as well as financing public projects.
Mission
The Foundation makes contributions to charities and non-profit organizations active in the fields of scientific research, education and training, arts and culture, heritage, environment, public health and assistance to vulnerable groups in society.
Geographic focus
Provinces of Verona, Vicenza, Belluno, Ancona and Mantua, but also operates throughout the country and abroad.
